Born in 1961 in Ohio and raised in sunny Miami, Florida, Jody has always had a deep passion for helping others feel their best—mind, body, and soul. After graduating from Palmetto Senior High School in 1979, she went on to earn her B.S. degree in Child Development and Family Relations from Western Carolina University in North Carolina (1983–1985).

Her journey into the world of Massage Therapy began in 1992 when she enrolled in Massage School in Asheville, NC. That experience led to her licensure and a thriving career in Therapeutic Bodywork. From 1999 to 2001, her excellence was recognized when she received an award for Best Massage Therapist from the Best of WNC 2001 Edition of Mountain Xpress.

In 1998, she opened Relax & Rejuvenate Massage Center, a thriving wellness hub featuring 15 Massage Therapists, 3 front desk staff, a retail shop, and a classroom for continuing education. The Center served the community for several years before she sold it in 2004 to pursue new ventures. Relax & Rejuvenate Massage Center is still open and serving its community today!

Since relocating to Oxford, Florida in 2011, Jody has continued to share her Healing Touch across various settings—including doctors’ offices, chiropractic clinics, assisted living communities, and private in-home sessions. Her Mobile Massage Business has brought care and comfort directly to clients who need it most. From 2014 to 2017, she also shared her expertise as an instructor at The Villages Learning College, teaching three different Massage and Wellness-related courses.

With decades of experience, a heart for service, and a deep understanding of Massage Therapy, Jody continues to inspire and support those around her through the power of Therapeutic Touch and Mentorship.
